New Farm

This piece features a farmer from back in the days of the mid 1800s when New Farm was an actual farming area, enjoying a slice of pizza from one of the many pizza shops now operating throughout New Farm today. The sugar cane in the background is a nod to the old Refinery that stood along the river. The farming theme was also inspired by the fortnightly Farmer's Markets held at the end of the road, at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
