Rainbow Serpent with Australian Animals

The work has a strong Australian flavour and reflects the surrounding area of the school and thus the signal box. It celebrates and ties together the local indigenous heritage, the strong arts movement (ie. the Heidelberg school of artists, Heide Gallery and a variety of diverse arts spaces) and the many parks and reserves that house a multitude of native animals.
