Sunrise/Sunset Over Mountains

The painting took on a life of its own, as the original idea was never far from hand or mind. With mountains being the theme, as the blue dots were layered so too did the forms of sea creatures start to form, well at least to my eye. Whales and dolphins can be 'spotted' if you have an eye for 'Pareidolia.'
The sun too was meant to be more linear, however creativity got the better of me and sun plumes took on different shapes and sizes. Perhaps 'Mountains of the Sea' is apt.
