Waiting

Waiting is situated next to a bus stop on Edmondstone street. Most people nowadays use their phones or devices whilst waiting at a bus stop to socialise, check daily events and communicate with friends and family. This artwork depicts this in a bright and vibrant style. The figures in the work are inspired by the blue figures seen in some of Matisse's work. The icons used are those seen on social media and the internet.
