Swift Parrot

I like the idea of the swift parrot with all the vibrant colours. That is the bird I like to tell our original story about taking care of our environment. I think it would work well close up and from a distance. I have enjoyed thinking of how to depict the feathers in a painterly style.. layered and textured. I wanted to capture the gentle nature of the bird’s face.
